Free Will

In verses 2:17, 3:6, God gives man the choice to obey His commandment, "but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat". From this point on, man can decide for himself what is best. In verse 3:6, we see the woman temped by the crafty serpent into believing that the forbidden fruit is not only pleasing to the pallet, but able to make her like God.
