ACTS of Prayer

Nehemiah, as he prays to the Father, follows that often shared acronym of the 'ACTS' of prayer - Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication. He declares the awesomeness of his Lord, confesses the sins of the Israelites (including himself), acknowledges that God has kept His covenant with those who love and obey Him and seeks God's attention to his prayer and to the needs of God's children.
