How can I boast

How can I boast in anything that is not eternal?

If I boast in my wisdom, that will die away the next time I meet a terribly hard problem: mathematical or real-world.

If I boast in my strength or physical fitness, tomorrow I will fall sick and waste away.

If I boast in my accomplishments, tomorrow they are gone and I am hunting for more.

BUT if I boast in knowing YOU and YOUR MERCY, everyday begins with a fresh understanding and realisation of how I can't boast enough about You. Everything else pales into comparison and sits on the foundation of knowing YOU.

Lord, may my heart seek for YOU more and more, day by day - that I may know You; that everything in this world (and in my imaginary world) may find its foundation on You. That's true boasting.
