Sprinting in the Marathon
I was recently talking to my pastor about how lately I've been feeling like I'm so busy doing all of this "busy work" in the ministry, and I just don't have time to do everything I want to do. He brought up a good point when he said, "this Christian walk is like a marathon, but there are times when you do have to sprint." So for me, this verse is another way of saying, "if you don't sprint now, then you're going to be left in the dust." Right now I'm plowing through all of this tedious stuff and getting my hands dirty, but when the time is right, I will have done the work to receive a sweet harvest.
