Questions: Genesis
"The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil..." - what do you suppose this means? Did the first two humans not have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong? If so, how could they understand what obedience was? And why did God restrict such knowledge from his greatest creations? In one of the most overlooked passages of Genesis, God seems to admit that Satan wasn't lying when he said fruit of a certain tree would make mankind "like God." Important questions about this passage often remain unanswered by traditional interpretations of the accounts of creation and the fall of man. But I would love to hear what people think.
