Challenges = Spiritual Growth
Are you facing a challenge right now? A challenge is a difficult task or problem. It is anything that stops you from achieving your goals. A challenge will take time, resources and money to resolve. It will take more courage, more faith, more commitment and more of YOU to make it through.
Eliezer had a simple goal: to get a wife for Isaac. To do this, he would have to go to a land he's never been, find the right woman, convince her come with him and marry a stranger. And, he had to also convince her family to let her go. As you can see, he had a good reason to doubt himself whether he could meet his goal.
When it comes to living for God, consider challenges as a something that is designed to help you grow and become the kind of person you need to be. Will you take action for God in spite of the challenges, obstacles and problems you are facing today? Will they stop you? It is basically up to you.
Eliezer knew exactly all the work it was going to take to meet his goal. He knew that along the way, God was going to bless him and make him successful. Same with you, you have your goals, you know your challenges, take action and know that God will, along the way, make you successful.
