As Good as Done

We "have been made right" refers to an action that has been completed but which has ongoing effects. We have been completely made right for all time when we are in Christ. Therefore we have (that is, we presently possess) peace with God. Since we are completely made right now and forever, we therefore have peace with God, now and forever whether we feel like it or not.
