The Importance of Acknowledging Who Christ Is
There is much debate on many aspects of what Christian faith and practice consists of, and I believe Grace gives us a wide degree of latitude. But clearly here, we see that one area where we need to be clear is on the identity of who Jesus is. Hebrews 1 gives us some specific confirmation of His divinity and distinctiveness from all others. Then, this passage clarifies that it's of critical importance that we not miss this, that we recognize who Jesus is. Everything depends on this.
