God's Anointed
Jehu comes out of this meeting with a young prophet and he's not sure what to make of it. When his fellow officers ask about it, he tries to dismiss it. They persist, sensing that there really was a message in there. Jehu reluctantly tells them what they said, not certain how they will react. He doesn't seem to know if he believes it.
But as soon as the officers hear it, they know it is from God. They do not doubt that the Lord has just anointed him. Their spirits affirm what the prophet had spoken. They respond by pledging their obedience to Jehu, and thus to the Lord.
