Amazing! Goliath the embodiment of fear, distraction from communion with God. The terror of what man can say and threaten us with. Or how an individual may address you filling you with fear and removing your focus on the Almighty.
David rebukes the Philistine demon. He is not afraid of him. He reminds God what God has done for him, reminds himself what God has done and can do for him! He speaks of what he has faith God is doing for him on that day concerning the slaughter of Goliath. He activates the host of God.
God equips us with all we need individually for such a battle. If this had been Samson would he have taken a sling??? Ofcourse not. Through prayer and declaring what the Lords word states we are empowered, equipped with the necessary artillery for battle against spirits that torment us and or our loved ones. The faith you bring to the battle field will activate our God to move. Allowing a bullseye off a slingshot from a mere boy to kill that spirit that for generations has brought shame and ridicule to the people of God.
So again I say I come against you you spirit of rebellion, stubbornness, lechery, divorce and breaking of covenant in the name of Jesus son of the living God for today he has delivered you into the hands of his host for a routing. You are banished from families you have been intent on destroying for today the Lord has given victory to his people who called on him and he has heard our prayer!
