Wow...as a leader this verse wrecked me today. Here is King David...ruler of his domain...with unchecked authority...but he still makes decisions that please God. He led his people by God leading him...as a result David was recorded as being just and right in his decisions. Right decisions...just leadership...can ONLY come with God constantly speaking into the life of the leader.
