Going above your station?
It is of course important to recognise and respect authority, as we cannot effectively be in authority until we understand being under authority.
Many times in the bible we are instructed to respect out elders, however, this doesn't mean we can't minister to someone we consider 'further up the ladder'.
In fact, I believe if we approach such situations combining humility and respect with boldness and trust in the Holy Spirit - these situations can be very powerful indeed.
