Power of Fear

Job was a man of great possessions, loved his children, and was godly. He did have a weakness though, fear. What did he fear? He said that what he feared would happen did happen.

So, how did Satan know where to hit Job? He hit him in his fear.

I have to wonder if Satan could have taken any of his possessions and children away had he not feared losing them?

Someone very close to me had a fear all of her life. She feared that she would never see her 48th birthday. In her earlier 40's God had worked a miracle in her body. Her doctor at John's Hopkins even wrote "Miracle Girl" on her chart.

Several years later an unrelated issue occured. She had developed cancer. She fought it for 3 years and died weeks from her 48th birthday.

Is it possible that her fear kept her from seeing her 48th birthday? Just asking.
