Job 38-40

God has been so quiet to this point. Deafening. Jobs suffering has been on God's silence.

God shows up on a big way.

The wise does not mistake God's silence for seemingly God's indifference.

3 questions from God
Who are you, Job?
Where we're you?... When I created the world.
Can you do what I do?

God displays the universe to Job. Could you have done it better?

But job is gaining wisdom. His response is short and based in reality.( 40:3-5) There is room for Mystery.

Pain is God's megaphone to about to a deaf world. (~ lewis)

God goes through objects of terror. "Hey, I made this"-God

There is non God's equal- don't forget it.

Our questions are never too big, but our understanding of Gid is way too small.

God does not stop Job's questions, but gives him perspective of who He is.

We don't know aht God is doing but God does. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Yet God allowed is omnipotent arms to be pinned to the cross.
