Concerns About Shows at Church
This sounds a lot like some modern church plants: they expect that through their light kits and stage decoration and band setup that God would be pleased.
Not that those things are evil...but relying on them is.
The real issue is that people are hungry and thirsty for the knowledge of Christ: a clear exposition and explanation of the Scriptures. People need God-glorifying, Gospel-proclaiming preaching.
