God is always talking

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son. - Heb 1 v 1 -2

God is not in the habit of staying silent. He is not a reluctant God holding out, hanging on the sidelines till he hears a subject that might interest him. He is always talking to us.

  • God speaks through His Word
  • God speaks through the Holy Spirit
  • God speaks through our thoughts
  • God speaks through conversations with others
  • God speaks through circumstances
  • God speaks through creation
  • God speaks through preachers
  • God speaks through our family
  • God speaks through our friends

The problem is not he does not speak its that often we do not listen. And when we do listen we very often tend to act like we didn't hear as we didn't really hear what we wanted to hear.

But he shouts at us mostly through His Son reminding us continually of His love and grace.
