When hard times come, be a student, not a victim.

1: We are drawn closer to God v3/4
• the father of all compassion and the God of all comfort.
• comfort is found in sinking our roots into the unseen reality if Gods ever faithful love and compassion.

2: We are equipped to minister v4-7
• v4 we receive His comfort to pass it on.
• v5-6 there is purpose behind suffering.
• v7 plan is to produce a people of hope.

3: We are empty of self reliance v8-10
• that we might not rely on ourselves but in God who raised the dead v9

4: We realise the true power of prayer.
• you help us by your prayers.
