Grace is transparent

People who hide behind a mask of perfection stand little chance of experiencing God & His grace.

He blesses us. Humility means we've arrived at selflessness, put off pride and taken on the armor of God's grace. It binds us to His heart while reforming our own. We see differently, think differently and live richer lives by God's grace.

He guides us. We don't become new creations so much as we are redirected toward who God has always created us to be. Our fragmented lives begin to see restoration through a deep and loving relationship with Christ Jesus. We accept the invitation to go where He goes.

He loves us. God's grace finds us imperfect and poor, wandering without cause or reason. But then we see him, experience him at work around us and embrace the extraordinary power of God's perfect love. We put our trust (faith) in him. We have arrived, humble and full of grace.

Jesus perfects us. Without a doubt, he is our beginning and our end. We don't have to have it all together and that's encouraging. He is the blood that runs through us, the spirit that intercedes for us and the love that completes us.

Perfection (pride) says 'I don't need anything,' and separates us from God's will. There is no room for humility, thus, no room for God. God is ready to give; He doesn't conceal his grace, but you'll never see it wearing a mask.

Note: Proverbs 16:1 is tagged but I would refer the entire chapter.
