A Prayer for our Generation
Lord, this passage gets really personal really fast. It points out many of our faults and the worse part is that those around us deny you bc of the way we live. We are supposed to help them get closer to you when in reality we are the reason they run away. One person once told me that we aren't perfect so the world shouldn't expect much...what??? What has our generation come to when we shy away from genuine repentance and transformation? Lord, my bride once said she read somewhere that we might be the only "Jesus" they meet...the only light...ray of hope...we are to bring you GLORY! LORD FORGIVE US FOR BEING SELFISH! We will be a generation that change all the guidelines...change the way we are viewed...we will be a generation that will read, believe, obey and bring you HONOR AND GLORY!
