Obedience through suffering

As Christians we seem to expect that God will make life a breeze. A joyride till the end of sorts. That's just NOT the case. Even Jesus suffered so that he would learn obedience. I can attest to this. I look back on life and am thankful for what I've had to go through. Because it's only by these situations that one can have wisdom to face it the next time and overcome.
