To Be Continued...
Jesus obeyed the Father and walked in love. It meant sacrifice, it meant selflessness, it meant submission, it meant Life and Joy and Peace! Whoever says they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. Our enemy does not want us to walk like Jesus; who has damaged his work more than the man who walked in perfect love...perfect obedience.
We are told to watch out that we don't lose what we've worked so hard for in the faith...we need to be diligent to receive the full award. What is the full award? I don't know what it is fully, but one thing is sure. If we walk in love, not wandering from the true life of Jesus we experience a doubly pleasant thing here...we stay in relationship with God the Father and His Son our Saviour!
Love binds me to the same God who Jesus followed in obedient love. Love binds me to the One who walked in loving obedience. I need to be as close to Him as I can to walk this way.
Love means doing what God has commanded. (1jn 2:6 not)
Oh God help me today to walk in love...wanting you more than what i want and what the devil desires! Please have mercy on me...so prone to wander missing the rewards!
