Faithful Generations (Wait and Reward)

Imagine being Simeon. You are waiting, looking, hoping for the future one - the Messiah, the King who would usher in a new future because of a prompting (a nudge) from the Holy Spirit. And you know that your only earthly reward is a glimpse of the future King and Kingdom before you will die. Your only reward is knowing a better future is to come through Jesus.

As I get older my desire to see younger generations lead the church into the future grows. And before I die I want to see just a glimpse, just a taste of the Kingdom to come through them and the power of God.

I desire (and feel a stirring) to see a glimpse of a Faithful Generation who humbly and faithfully walks with God.

Simeon faithful waits and he is faithfully rewarded with a future hope and certainty. I am learing to faithfully wait and believe I will most certianly be rewarded with the same hope.
