Waging War (Urgent Battle Cries)

I really love this passage... 1 Chronicles 5:18-22 ESV

It says that "The Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh were valiant men who carried shield and sword, and drew the bow, expert in war."

In our lives we have battles (spiritual wars) we must fight and we must be "experts in war". We should know our strengthens and our weakness. We should have many weapons and learn how to weild them well. In doing this we will be valiant men ready for battle.

But for all their training, for all their weapons, and even their valiant behavior the war they wage is invain without God.

"They waged war and when they prevailed, all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they trusted in him."

Although we train for battles in our lives, our ministries, and our world we are hopeless if we do not trust in God with urgent pleas and battle cries!

Wage War! Be Experts! Raise Urgent Battle Cries! Trust God! Enjoy the Spoils of Victory!
