Making a Difference.

1: 'Therefore each one of you...'
• "Therefore.." takes us back to v20-24 - being saved and putting off the old self and putting on the new self.
• "...each one of you" - All of us.

2: "...must put off falsehood..."
• Falsehood is libel against God, whose image we bear.
• Must make a prior commitment not to lie.

3: "...and speak truthfully to his neighbour..."
• God is truth.
• Jesus was truth personified.
• v15 - 'speak the truth in love'

4: "...we are members of one body..."
• When we lie - we hurt ourselves, others And Christ, because we are part of one body.
