The Modern Day Lukewarm Church
Many churches these days are way too conservative with their faith. I come from a conservative baptist background and it's really crazy to see how much my life and perspectives have changed over the last 4 years. I gave my life over to Christ and I realized how "Lukewarm" I was.
Many people and churches are so worried about how society or the average person might view them or their churches and are neglecting that it's all about God and not us.
It's time that churches start stepping out in faith helping the community. Just because churches might be having a hard time staying afloat, doesn't mean they need to cut ministries. I think that God will reward you more by stepping out in faith during the hard times and helping rather than when you're doing well.
