Loving Out Loud On a Graduate Level

Sometimes love takes some real courage. Confrontation is sometimes an act of love. Some people think that love is hiding the facts. Proverbs 10:10. Sometimes honesty is difficult. So how do we confront those we care about?
- Check your motivation
* The roots of this maybe jealousy, annoyed, revenge, anger, etc
* Sometimes we feel superior. Often we confront others with our own flaws. Don't be hypocritical.
* The right motivation is to help not hurt. Also, a close relationship is needed to ensure love. If you never confront anyone, you will never be close to anyone.

- Plan your presentation
* Plan when you will share. Choose the right time. Are they ready to hear and deal?
* Plan what you will share. Sarcasm never works. Good introduction bring good results.
* It is how you say what you need to say. Say it lovingly. Good rule of thumb - if you feel good saying it, then you should not say it. Never do it anonymously. Say it tactfully. You are never persuasive through anger. Say it gently. You do not come in like a school teacher.

Truth+Tact+Timing=Transformation

Remember, you can not change them. Only the holy spirit of God can transform. You only confront so that love and truth wins out.
