Focusing on vs 9, God obviously wants to made perfectly clear: this is a COMMAND not just a word of encouragement Joshua, when I say be strong and courageous I mean do not have any fear and do not be discouraged, it's a COMMAND.
Joshua was a disciple first. God knew exactly what he needed to hear. As a young leader I can relate. I need clear instruction as I work out my strength's and weaknesses.
