Greatfulness.....
As we approach thanksgiving I find God to be yet even more wonderful showing me something about Mary Magdalene. I know I have read this before, but I do not know if I ever made the correlation between the Mary who has seven demons removed from her, the Mary who sits at Jesus's feet and the Mary who anoints Jesus's feet with oil.
Let me say I do understand that there are differing opinions on if they are the same, but that is not what God talked to me about this morning. He simply asked if I had seven demons removed how would I show how grateful I was.
Firstly I looked at my life and started to attempt to count how many demons He has removed from my life and it was well beyond seven. And part of how I can show my gratitude is by simply encouraging you to love on God. To look at what he has kept you from rather than what Satan tells you He is keeping from you. This is one of Satan's oldest tricks, all the way back to the garden. And to pray with words of worship and gratitude for who God is not only what He has done for us.
God you are so amazing, to be so loving, so powerful, so generous and so protecting, you just baffle my mind. I want to be more like you, the perfect Father. Thank you for being my Creator (God), my Lord and Savior (Jesus), and my Counselor (the Holy Spirit). Your encouraging words this morning have put me in a grateful mindset, please let that last through the day and shine on others so they may come to know or grow closer to you. Please let these words penetrate and resonate in the hearts of those who read it. Let them embrace you and know you intimately as I yearn to do more everyday. I love you and praise you.
