What Light?
God said, "Let there be light." But the sun and the moon are not made until the fourth day in verse 14. So what light is verse 3 talking about? Jesus said, "I am the light of the world."
Could there be a connection? Is this Jesus being begotten? Did God the Father envision the creation of beings that would fall away when given free will and would need to be redeemed? Did He know from the beginning that the only redemption would have to come from Himself? Is that why the first thing He spoke into existence is the Redeemer Himself? What do you think?
