A Composite One


"...the two are united into one." The Hebrew word translated as "one" is "echad." It means "a composite one." One that is made up of more than one. The same word is used in Deut 6:4 "...the LORD is one." Sounds consistent with the Trinity to me.

The opposite of echad is adulturate. It means "two or more things combined that corrupt each other." We get our word "adultery" from this word.
