Clash of the Titans
I wonder if the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6 parallel the Titans of Greek, Norse, and other legends? I wonder how much a study of Titanic figures from ancient literature would inform our knowledge of the antediluvian world. I'm also wondering if the violence God speaks of in Genesis 6 is in any way parallel to the content of the legends since these stories seem full of violence and sexual conquest.
What if the mythology is a stylized history of actual events?
