Trusting God's Faithfulness in Dark Times
Sometimes I feel like David, under attack by the enemy. Sometimes I wonder how long before God will rescue me from a season of pain. But I notice David asks "how long"? He expects that God will answer. I love The Message version of vs 5-6 "I've thrown myself headlong into your arms-I'm celebrating your rescue. I'm singing at the top of my lungs, I'm so full of answered prayers."
When we have faith, we can throw ourselves into His arms knowing that He WILL rescue us. Sometimes when I am feeling so much pain, I love to sing at the top of my lungs (usually when I'm alone and driving) praise and worship to my Lord. It's amazing how doing so refreshes my hope and lifts my soul. Wonder if anyone else does this?
