grace

Many think that God told Abram to lie, but notice that He did not. Why would God bless Abram in his deceit? I think this shows God's grace. God does not bless Abram because of his lie, but rather in spite of it. It also shows a lack of trust on Abram's part, not believing that God would protect him, so he takes it on his own. I often do that myself. I bet God could have protected Abram and He can also protect and provide for me better than I can for myself.
