Don't Listen to Her!!!!
Here we see Abram doing what Adam had done...following his wife. The divine order has ordained that a man should lead his wife, not vice versa. Yes they are equal heirs of grace, and are to love and respect one another, but God has called the man to lead. As with Adam and Abram, the results are usually not good when the divine order is broken. This shows that Christ is to lead the church (who will be His bride), not the other way around. Jesus does not need our help in leading and making decisions as the church. We are to follow Him and not try to lead. When we lead and ask Him to follow, nothing good comes of it. Just ask Adam and Abram.
