Facing Reality
I love the Message Translation for vs. 17.."Face it: we're in a bad way here. Jerusalem is a wreck; its gates are burned up. Come-lets build the wall of Jerusalem and not live with this disgrace any longer" Some times we need someone to be real to us and to tell it like it is. I appreciate my wife because she is that person in my life. I wish as Christians, we would listen to the Holy Spirit when he provides that rude awakening that we need to change something about our lives.
On the other hand, any true leader should not be afraid to speak up and provide clear directions and instructions. I pray that I can be that leader that speaks and people listen to what I have to say, not because of my position, but because of the value of the messages
