This verse to me is foundational to our understanding of church being "sent" rather than calling and attracting people to it. Mega churches have come to symbolize the hording of resources and Christians, but this verse seems to say we are to leave our place of security and live with Jesus in the wilderness, where he is seeking out his lost sheep.
