sights set

Imagine being that parent.....preparing...for those many days, and looking up and seeing "the place" in the distance. How Abraham must have felt to look, and know what he was planning. I don't ever remember noticing the time it took him to plan - that it wasn't immediate - he had days of this knowledge he had to sacrifice his son. How painful a burden to carry....and how pure a devotion.
