Importance of teaching your kids about God
As I read this I thought, how did an entire generation grow up without knowing anything about God or the work He had done for Israel. And my next thought was, because the parents did not heed the advice of God contained in Deuteronomy to teach the truths of God to your kids when you wake up, when you go to sleep, when you eat dinner, when you go out, when you come in, when you take a walk, whatever you do and wherever you go to be talking to your kids about God's love and goodness and how he has saved us. That is what will keep us from repeating the same mistake.
