The Hawaiian Blessing
This reminds me of the time I went to Hawaii. The sights and sounds were almost breathtaking. Even as a tourist, we were able to go to places that can only be enjoyed by being there. One week we stayed in a cabin right on the beach. There was such a peace there. The view, the perfect weather, the food all contributed to a perfect week in paradise.
This is what we have when we truly hideaway in Christ. He is the place for us to vacation and relax. We can see for miles anything coming our way and just like the fragrance of the lei's that they placed around our necks, He is that fragrance that takes us away form all the cares of this life. It's nice to lay in the hammock of His love for a while; enjoying the view and the rest. I think that's why He said, "Come unto me all you who are weary and worn out and I will give you rest."
