Finding Hope in Struggles- Romans 5:4
I understand how perseverance produces character, but character produces hope? I've never thought of the two related.
It makes sense, though.
When facing troubles, if you persevere (face and endure your suffering with integrity and faithfulness), you will come out stronger on the other side (character). Along with that, you now know that perseverance is possible. You have kept the faith. You know what God is capable of seeing you through.
This gives us hope, hope that comes from experience.
