Shadrach Meshach and Abednego
This passage reminds me of the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. God is indeed a jealous God. He requires all glory and honor be given unto himself. These boys did the right thing in the eyes of the fiery furnace. In contrast, by not giving GodLord, by acknowledging that He is the one and only true God. By doing so, they gave God glory, and God saved their lives in the glory, this man was eaten by worms. I choose the former.
