Who was Canes Wife?
I have read this passage many times, but as in my daily life for 2009 my focus with my house mate and I is to try and find out what is Truth. We often read and just believe what it is, sometimes for me that happens in the Bible as well as in other books that I just assume all things I read are true. I have thus realized that not all that I know as truth are true.
My Question in this passage is found in Genesis 4:16 where it talks about Cane and his wife. But who was his wife? I think its one of 2 people. Either has to be his Mom or His sister. To me the reason I am asking is I have been challenged to think that there might have been other people created the same time Adam and Eve were created. The Bible doesn't say there were, but the Bible also doesn't say that there wasn't. It later talks about How Cane founded a city. In what sense does that word founded mean, did he create the city from his sons and daughters or were there other people living, haven been created before Him?
If anybody could help me with some of these questions that would be awesome..
