Notice that as we read through the first chapter of Mark, as Jesus interacts with people, they are never left the same.

Some people leave everything that they have so that they can follow him. (v.16-20)

Some people hear his teaching and are astonished at the authority that he has. (v.21-22)

Some people are freed from the oppression of Satan's evil forces and spread his fame through the entire surrounding region. (v.23-28)

Some people are healed from sickness and begin serving. (v.29-31)

Some people are made whole and begin telling everyone they come in contact with. (v.40-45)
