Finally!

Jesus had healed multitudes (Matt. 4:23-24), preached amazing sermons (Matt. 5-7), healed more people (Matt. 8:1-17), calmed the seas (Matt. 8:23-27), healed even more people (Matt. 8:28-9:6, 9:18-35, 12:9-13), preached a bunch more (Matt. 12:25-13:52), and fed the five thousand (Matt. 14:13-21)... but it wasn't until he walked on the water and calmed the seas a second time that his disciples finally realized that He was the Son of God! It seems so ridiculous that it would take so long for Christ's followers to finally see God for who He truly is... but how often do we find ourselves doubting, questioning, second-guessing, whining, frustrated, anxious, wondering? Is God really going to do what He says He will do? Do His promises really apply to me? Can I really do "all things through Him who strengthens me?" Is He *really* that good? Yes, and I say again, Yes! Lord, forgive us for doubting. Yes, Lord, I do believe -- but help my unbelief!
