A Prayer for Our Generation
Lord, I am praying that we do church based on Your Kingdom and not religion or tradition. I am praying that our generation will become known for associating and blessing "such sinful people" and no more cuddling the religious hypocrites. We will do church in a way that those far from you will want to run and check us out and they will come with a mentality of hating organized religion but will see that its actually about a disfunctional relationship....where despite we were sinners you gave your life for us. I was the one sheep, we were that one lost sheep, the drunk guy in the back is that one sheep, the girl dressed like a guy is that one sheep, the mother that has bee abused by her husband and abuses her children in response is that one sheep, the 16 yr old who was raped by her own uncle is that one sheep....we will not focus on why that one sheep got lost and criticize and judge but we will do what you did for us...
pursue them with every resource you have given...no matter what the cost! THAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
