Wake up

Lord wake me up from the American dream. I don't want to become wicked by aquiring more stuff and celebrating to the sound of success by America's standard. Wake me up before it is too late. Help my choldren to not fall asleep in the trap of the American dream, to get the big house, to get the nice car, to get all the wealthy and well to do friends, to go along with the tide of the culture where anything goes. Wake us up. We want to be found content in all things, rather filled or hungry. We want to be with you through better or worse. Wake us up that we don't become wicked while sleep to the rhythm of the American dream.
