Let God Work or Work God?
Here we see the Gentiles rejoicing when they hear the faith that was once exclusive to the Jews was now all inclusive. I have more questions for the Church (the people) in regards to this scripture than anything.
1. In today's Culture is the Christian faith seen as something only the moral and perfect can follow or is it seen as a faith for the imperfect and smelly?
2. With the mind set of a buffet style faith system today or create your own beliefs system, which usually boils down to; be a good person and do right by others how can we better communicate the gospel and lovingly illuminate a need for a savior in peoples lives?
I do believe that the holy spirit is capable of moving in any ones live creating an openness for them to receive Christ as their savior. Which leads me to the last question.
How do you practice getting out of the way to allow God to work through you to reach people and not try to "work God" into peoples lives?
