I find it interesting...the hand that heals and delivers asked to leave? We don't know the time frame it took for the herdsmen to go get a mob of people and the book of Matthew doesn't go into as much detail as Luke. To me it seems that when the Gardarne's arrived they were more concerned with their loss of property, money, etc. verses the fact that the men they outcasted are in a right mind. Their attitude was still the same, even though these men are healed they still would be outcasts.
What is really exciting is the in between moment. The moments or minutes right after the demons left the men. It was just Jesus and them. The first thing their restored body sees and embraces is Jesus.
