Simple - Yet Profound

How many times a day do we think about our children? Their wants, their needs, their health, their countenance, their hurts, their joys, etc. And my wife and I often leave each other little notes (post-it notes on the kitchen cabinets, notes scribbled in our planners, etc.) that say, "I'm probably thinking about you *right now*!". That thought alone can bring comfort to an otherwise hectic and crazy day. And yet, how much more with our Heavenly Father? Sometimes (actually, all the time!) it's good to pause and rest in the assurance that "the Lord thinks upon me" -- even when we feel "poor and needy".
