Message - Double standards...

Cephas, A.K.A. Peter, has demonstrated an unacceptable behavior. He behaves like a Gentile in front of the Gentiles, yet when the Jewish entourage comes through, Peter withdraws from them, and acts like an orthodox Jew, even leading people to act like him.

The last time Peter did something similar to this, was when he made his "3 time" denial of the Messiah Jesus Christ, when He was arrested. Peter seems to have a discipline and/or loyalty problem...

Paul rebukes him for this, saying you are acting like a Jew, when you live like a Gentile, posing a double standard.

Today, many people do this, we sin in the dark, and act holy in the light.

We also tend to act holy in secret, yet when our "friends" come along, we conveniently change to suit their views, and compromise our holiness...
